Our Mission & Vision
Sharing God’s Holy Word and Love With You and The World
OUR PURPOSE STATEMENT St. Matthew Baptist Church exists to glorify God and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ our Savior; to preach the good news of the saving death and victorious resurrection of Jesus Christ so that all who believe will be saved, and to baptize them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
OUR VISION STATEMENT Our vision is to be a transformed community of disciples, committed to sharing God’s love and seeing transformation by the grace of God. We aim to be part of a growing church family that is focused on each member’s spiritual, emotional and physical growth.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT At St. Matthew Baptist Church our mission is to save souls by glorifying God, to spread His Holy Word, to support fellow believers, and to be a guiding light for the community.
“My sheep hear my voice…
and they follow me.”
John 10:27
